Client Feedback
I work out of a home office without any administrative support. I worked with Melissa to organize both my personal and professional effects as I prepared to relocate. I wish I had done it years ago. While organizing my office and paperwork Melissa identified my natural tendencies and created an organizational structure that was easy for me to maintain. When I began looking for a personal organizer, I mostly wanted someone else to come in and take care of the mess I had allowed to build up over the years. Working with an “uninterested” party during the purging process helped me lighten my load considerably. During the process Melissa provided me with simple intuitive skills that have not only allowed me to maintain my newly found order but help friends and family organize as well. I can honestly say hiring Melissa is one of the best things I have ever done for myself.

Professional Training
Melissa continuously seeks out the most current information available from a variety of sources. Always on the lookout for new products and ways to simplify life and organize just about anything, she subscribes to various newsletters, including the NAPO newsletter. She is eager to implement new ideas to meet her client’s individual needs and looks forward to sharing newly acquired knowledge.
Education
With a bachelor’s degree from Brigham Young University and an educator by training, Melissa draws on six years of classroom teaching experience as well as her experience as a mother of two young children to creatively problem solve and effectively address many organizational issues. From her experience as a teacher, Melissa understands the importance of confidentiality, flexibility, and active listening (as well as what it means to multi-task!). She enjoys the rewards of a service-oriented profession and seeks out opportunities to improve the lives of others.
Daily Application
Melissa advocates organized living. Organizing is her hobby and her passion. As a teacher she loved organizing her classroom to meet the needs of her students and after years of using her free time to hone her skills at home, her husband rarely has to ask the question “Honey, where is my…?” She has developed methods that help streamline her life, eliminate clutter, give her free time, and create a relaxed and peaceful home environment.
